Piping ASTM

S.S. Piping to ASTM A-312 (Welded)

Introduction and Scope - This cover straight seam welded (without the addition of filler metal) austenitic stainless steel pipe intended for high temperature and general corrosive services.

Materials - Material is ordered with the requirements of ASTM A-240 in 340, 340L, 316 & 316L grades regularly. Special grades can be made as per Customer's requirements.

Size Range

Process Of Manufacture - The pipe is manufactured from annealed strips on modern continous forming mills with TIG welding process under intert gas atmosphere. All pipes are annealed at a minimum temperature of 1050ยบ C, straightened, pickled and passivated, end finished & 100 % tested in accordance with ASTM A-530.

Marking: All pipes are marked as folows: Bhandari,ASTM A-312 , Grade, Nominal size ,Schedule No, Heat No.
